FRANCIS ARTWORK BY THE CENTRAL CREATIVE COLLECTIVE

By popular request, Francis is now available as t-shirts and hoodies for a limited time. This is the original Francis/graffiti design by the Central Creative Collective (CCC) -- as featured in the Central High School lobby mural. The online store is only open through July 11, 2025. The orders will ship out 7-10 days afterwards. All proceeds will go towards supporting CCC’s work and Saint Paul Central. 

Who is Francis?

Francis is the CCC’s reinterpretation of the Central Minuteman mascot. Our goal was to create a character that authentically reflects today’s Saint Paul Central High School students. Francis has appeared in various forms…including the large lobby mural, main backdrop at the 2025 graduation ceremony, posters, stickers, shirts, etc.

We are the Central Creative Collective (CCC)

The CCC is a student-centered creative leadership group mentored by artist Leon Wang. We use art & culture to enhance our physical & social environments. We aim to build spirit & unity through our activities, projects, and campaigns. We are grateful for the partnership and support of Principal Cherise Ayers and the Parent Advisory Council (PAC).
